Over a span of two years there is a technological revolution that not only scaled up the awareness level across the socio-economic hierarchy but also provided a platform to improve the quality of life of people in the bottom of the pyramid. In this context I am writing this note to you. Adhikar is one of the leading non-profit organizations committed to make a meaningful difference in the lives of the poor. While Adhikar is celebrating its 28th birthday we have touched the lives of more than 2 lakhs people living in some of the aspirational districts of Odisha, Chhattisgarh, Assam and West Bengal.
Adhikar works in quest of an exploitation free and balanced society based on human values of love, peace, freedom and equality where social and economic justice are ensured and each human being regardless of caste, creed, religion can exercise their basic and fundamental rights with a dignified manner and feel to be instrumental for their socio economic development in an atmosphere of social harmony to build a just and equitable society.
Our Mission is the economic and political empowerment of the marginalized and deprived communities in rural and urban areas of Odisha through ensuring an effective, flexible and responsive financial service system and safeguarding their fundamental human rights which help them for a just and meaningful living.
